Tibet–1993

This photograph is one of a number of photos I took of a group of Tibetan Nomads at a monastery near Lhasa. I was provided with a wonderful, yellow wall and textured wooden door as a backdrop. This particular woman stood out from the group because of her braided hair with its elaborate decorations, as well as her traditional, green, yak skin coat.
